Conservation Education
Baha Mar believes education is a key component in The Bahamas conservation effort and has developed several programs to promote awareness and drive support.
The B.E.A.C.H Sanctuary
Marine life is an integral aspect of conservation in The Bahamas; for that reason, the Baha Mar Ecological Aquatic Conservation Habitat (B.E.A.C.H) Sanctuary was manifested. The B.E.A.C.H Sanctuary creates a unique opportunity for marine life education combined with a visual experience. Book a tour of The Sanctuary to learn the importance of Bahamian marine life and discover how you can do your part.

Eco-Ambassador Program
The Eco-Ambassador Membership is gained through a contribution to support priority Bahamian species, either through a $150 contribution to the Flamingo Protection Initiative or a $100 contribution to the Coral Conservation Initiative. As an Eco-Ambassador, guests receive discounts on conservation focused merchandise at the Conservation Education Center, exclusive access to coral growth timelines and resident flamingo updates, as well as quarterly briefings on local conservation efforts.
