Non-hotel guests are welcome to reserve ESPA spa services. In an effort to maintain a safe environment for our guests and associates, we require non-vaccinated guests to have a negative COVID-19 rapid antigen test taken within 5 days at a Doctor’s Hospital or Family Medicine Center testing facility. COVID-19 rapid antigen tests from other healthcare providers will no longer be accepted. When entering Baha Mar you will be required to show proof of a negative antigen test along with a valid ESPA reservation. Guests, Visitors, and Residents who have proof of being fully vaccinated and having passed the two-week immunity period are exempt from COVID-19 testing requirements for entry.

ESPA at Baha Mar will continue do our best to ensure our guests have a comfortable and unforgettable experience.

We have enhanced our health and safety protocols in our operations in accordance with the World Health Organization (WHO) guidelines and with local government officials to ensure the safety of our guests and associates. This includes temperature checks upon arrival, face coverings while traversing through the spa, increased cleaning and sanitization protocols, additional hand sanitizers throughout the spa, UV wands being used to sanitize all seating areas and physical distancing measures. ESPA at Baha Mar has also selectively curated a selection of Fortifying treatments to enhance one’s immunity and overall wellbeing.

Below are the changes made to our previous Spa Operations:

Hours of operation 9am – 6pm

Arrival Experience:

  • Please arrive 15-30 minutes ahead of time, a temperature check will be required upon arrival and all spa guests must complete a digital online consultation form with additional health related questions, this will be offered at spa reception on an iPad.
  • Guests must arrive with their face masks on
  • Always maintain social distancing of 6ft
  • Strongly recommend hotel guests to shower pre-treatment in hotel room

Locker rooms/Relaxation/Facilities lounge:

  • Guests must maintain their face masks on while experiencing the common areas, mask maybe removed whilst consuming refreshments)
  • Always maintain social distancing of 6ft
  • Relaxation lounge furniture will be carefully spaced to ensure social distancing
  • Wet areas will remain closed
  • Sauna will be available at limited capacity (mask may be removed upon entering and placed back on upon exiting)
  • Complimentary bottled water and individually wrapped light snacks will be offered in the lounges.

Treatment and Treatment Rooms:

  • Guests and therapists must maintain their face masks on during the treatment
  • Additional time will be added to each service to ensure added sanitation measures are adhered to
  • Therapists may be utilizing gloves during treatments
  • We will be offering a full-service menu including all massages, body treatments and nails services inclusive ESPA Ultimate Lift & Firm Facial and ESPA Inner Beauty Facial (Please note steam and extraction will not be offered in the facial treatments)
  • Treatment restrictions are rhythmic balance and Deep cleansing facial until further notice

What are the procedures at the gym?

  • Upon arrival guests will be asked to register at ESPA and must complete a digital online waiver form this will be offered at spa reception on an iPad
  • All guests will be required to wear masks except when actively working out in the designated marked zones.
  • Capacity within the gym facility will be reduced to allow for social distancing and guests will be granted access on a first come, first-served basis.
  • Guests are encouraged to disinfect the equipment before and after use
  • Baha Mar will provide antibacterial wipes, as well as towels, for your convenience.
